Hello,

I know there are a few threads on this but I have followed the advice and have not been able to resolve my issue. I have been trying to install my 3rd Gen nest thermostat in place of my existing Drayton LP241 and Salus wireless thermostat system. Yesterday when I installed it, when using over ride mode (pressing the hub in the cupboard) the heating would come one but the thermostat wouldn't call for the heating. Now I have no heating at all and nothing will start the boiler / heating.

Here is my Drayton wiring:

Following the advice on this forum here is the wiring I have done:

For clarity I moved the wires as follows:

(N) > (N)
(L) > (L)
(1) > (4)
(4) > (3)
(3) > (6)

I then added links between L - 2 - 5

I then understand I need to decommission my Salus thermostat but I don't quite understand what wires I need to remove. It is wired as follows:

And as follows in the terminal box:

Blue 2
Green / yellow 3
Grey 7
Browney red 1
Black 4

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

If you decommission that are you going to use the usb lead for the Nest?

Isolate the electrics safely and remove the wires that would have gone to the Salus.

you need to make a link between the two switching wires from the salus in the wiring centre when you remove the Salus
Thanks, I originally put this, but then edited because I thought it was wrong

How do I know which are the switching wires? There are four wires in my Salus box - NO COM and then N and L. Are you saying the link needs to go between the wires that are going into COM and NO?

Yes com and no, L and N are Live and neutral - do not join these.
