What should i use?

Prepared to lose 2-3inches from the wall to insulate/board/tile it. What would you recommend? 25mm battens, then 25mm celotex, then 12mm plasterboard? Do i need a membrane on the wall or vapour barrier anywhere? Or is the foiled backed celotex sufficient, i will tank around the bath shower area before the tiles.

Also have the roof to insulate which is slightly pitched flat roof. Could use up to 160mm as it has a high ceiling, which is showing the rafters. Can i just add the insulation between the roof board and plasterboard on top? Bathroom ceilings require special plasterboard?

Thanks in advance,
