I am going to install a suspended floor in our large shed/ studio - 7 x 5m so that I can insulate the floor.
The shed is already suspended above the base by being supported on new sleepers. Am I right though that I will still need to leave an air gap between the existing floor and the insulation which will be under the new floor?
I.e. we will have from bottom up, original floor, air gap, insulation and finally new floor?
Thanks for your help
