I have a new roof on new 100mm rafters. I'm thinking 75mm PIR flush with rafter face (so 25mm gap), foil tape over exposed rafter faces, then standard plasterboard. Area about 18ftx4ft. Sound ok? Thanks!

I'd add another 50mm over the rafters, then plaster board, as just 75mm between isn't compliant with building regs

I thought it was 150mm Min, usually done by 100 between and 50 below if the rafters are deep enough. And may have increased further with the more recent regs. But I may also be out of touch as not done one for a while

I think you are right. Target u value is now 0.16 for renovation.

OP, I would be looking to add either another 75mm over the rafters but 100mm would be best.
