Hiya. I have a single skin flat roofed porch. There is no plaster or render either side and it gets extremely cold. Not only this the draught that comes through our internal doors is doing my head in.

Is there any way of getting rid of the draughtyness in the porch? I cant put studded plasterboard on the inside, as the front door is butted right up against the wall.

Any thoughts.

Insulate the exterior brickwork, then render. Won't do a whole lot assuming your porch has lots of glazing.

Draughtproof the main front door. Brush seals all the way round, brush on the bottom and brush letterbox. Makes a noticable difference if done properly.

BOOM BOOM!
