Hello All

I hope this is the right place to post this question. I am looking at sound proofing an excisiting dry wall. I don't want to remove the plasterboards. I was thinking of pumping something into the cavity areas!? Is there something or someone who can do that?

Some advice, direction, opinions would be well appreciated.

Thanks all

Poppo

I don't think that anything that could be pumped-in ( i.e. of necessity light) would make any noticeable difference to sound-absorbtion.

You can pump in warmcell (recycled newspaper) but it's not the most effective sound killer. also you need to cut a series of largish holes which would need making good after anyway.
