Insulation board for cutting

I've got some 2400mm long chipboard (I think) panels from my dismantled fitted wardrobe. I need to cut them down into manageable chunks to fit into the car boot.

I've thought of different ways to dry but I'm worried about the blade pinching and kickback. The easiest and safest method I read about was to use insulation board underneath and rest the whole thing on the ground.

Does it matter which type of board I go for or is Wickes polystyrene insulation board suitable?

Or (presuming a circular saw) set the saw to cut half way through and use the ground. Then stamp on the board

There’s no flex in the boards, even the 2400mm ones. I’d probably break my foot doing that.

I’ll try cutting part way through the thickness of the panels.
