I have a garage 5.5m by 5.5m, two of the walls are double skinned the rear is single brick. The roof is pitched and at present un boarded. I use the space as a workshop and I intend to insulate it. I will be adding insulated roller doors on the front.
I plan to build a timber frame on the rear wall, insulate and board that with ply.
My question is around boarding and insulating the roof.
I intend to plaster board the joists forming a flat ceiling and a loft about.
Rather than use traditional insulation am I ok to use Kingspan between the joists and have an unheated loft space above?
Will doing this cause me any issues? Cost of the insulation isn't an issue here.
TIA.
