I had a Speedfit elbow work it's way loose about a month ago causing a major flood in my converted cellar.
Looking at it it seems that the tradesman either did not screw it up tight enough or that he did not push the pipe in far enough.
I was fixing it late at night and so could not get a replacement fitting... the bits of the fitting did not seem damaged and so I screwed it back together and re-used it.
It has now held for a month and I have pressurised/de-pressurised it a few times with no movement.
Will the fitting still be good, or do I need to replace with a new fitting?
Thanks,
P2K
