Hi

I have been looking for a while at having multizone control of my central heating, the benefits seem to be universally accepted as being at least 20% energy savings...however

I have looked at the honeywell and danfoss systems which both seem to do exactly what I want, but are wireless and will require regular battery changes

Does anyone know of a similar wired system?

I have a 26 head Hometronic system and the batteries last in excess of 3 years.

You could fit a manifolded radiator system and use the manifold zone valves via an Evohome or Hometronic controller, this system can be made to work without batteries.

At the end of the day the batteries aren't really a problem, but if you want to throw money at it we (and I'm sure a few others) can specify a solution.

My setup is:

Evohone
6x dt92e
Hccr80
OpenTherm wireless bridge.
Cs92a cylinder controlling a thermal store

A mix of underfloor heating and rads all running off a john guest and nu heat manifold combo.
