Interesting Christmas tree

We have a ritual Christmas tree burning every new year along with any of my books more than 7 years old. I have to say, those dry pine needles do burn furiously.

Haynes manuals yes, but burning old jazz mags....WTF?

I looked at a job about 14 months ago where the new occupier found a load of 1970's porn mags in the cellar. She threw them out. Unbelievable.

I found 4 old porn mags under the loft insulation in my house. We moved in in 1990 and these are dated in the 70’s so I can imagine a previous owner popping up the loft for some me time.

Since 1982, my wife and I take it in turns to go around the house twice daily soaking anything that happens to be dry to prevent any such things randomly combusting.

Fire safety is for life, not just Christmas.
