Intergas boiler shutting down

Hi looking for advice please. My Intergas boiler fires up (or sounds like it does) just after it’s shuts off after reaching the required temp.. is this normal? .. so the wall thermo is for example set at 18 .. the heating comes on, reaches required temp and shuts off .. I’m ok with it to this point but then it immediately seems to fire up again for a second before finally switching off... thanks for any info

Does it actually fire, or is this pump overrun? These have a pump that kicks in periodically anyway to prevent seizure.
