Hi All again.

A brief outline......Open vented, fully pumped system.
Zone vales for DHW and Heating.
My aging Glowworm Spacesaver 40B (Blue knob gas valve jobbie)
has started kettling inside (I think) due to having years of accumulated deposits inside. X400 as suggested on here improved it a bit but it's temperature is turned down so low now that even after
an hour, it will not heat my DHW above 55 degrees. (There is good flow through 22mm pipework).......So......

After a look round, I'm thinking of an Intergas Heat only boiler.

Looking at dimensions, it should fit where my existing boiler is.
However......My current boiler exhausts under a car-port. I'm sure this will not be permissable with a steaming condensing boiler.

So......What is your opinion of......Intergas boiler on wall, flue out through wall.
90 degree bend to vertical then about a 1 metre vertical flue through the
(board & felt) carport roof.
A bit like option 6 in this illustration, but without the horizontal run
inside the house.

Any opinions would be helpful.

Thanks.

Ian.

Even your existing boiler flue is likely to be incorrect!

Any new boiler should be installed by a gas safe installer who will advise on how the flue can be fitted.
