I live in a old cottage with original interior latch doors.
I have noticed that on some of the doors the edges of the panels that make up the doors feels damp, and look slightly dark. but only in patches, like something is leaking from the wood, but its not sap.
The weather is wet and damp, but also I am painting my living room, but I am sure this is not connected. The house has been treated with all the necessary treatments for rot/beetles etc.
What could it be? Never noticed it before, house is dry.
