Hi. In my house the upstairs internal doors are 680mm wide (2' 3"). I have a situation involving the door into the bathroom where one option (to solve a problem) is to reduce the size of the door width to 630mm (2' 1"). Is a bathroom door width of 630mm acceptable - in principle? Thanks.

Don't see an issue if you're not working under building control, and even then it's possible they would be lenient if all your other doors are so narrow. I believe the rules around this are mainly to do with wheelchair access, which depends if a wheelchair would get up the stairs etc
