I am adding an extension to the house and hope to put a door through from the kitchen to the garage.

Does anyone know if there are any regulations that I need to follow. i.e fire door?

Yes, Fire door, door closer, garage floor level minimum 100mm lower and so on, best to give BCO a ring.
