I’m looking to buy a pair of 78” x 23” rebated oak glazed doors like these:

Are there any online suppliers that are better to buy from or are they all the same? Anything to look out for or to avoid when buying and what exactly does 'unfinished' mean?

Thanks.

I think unfinished will mean they need sanding down and some form of top coat, stain, lacquer or whatever you choose.

Back again with a question. I’ve looked at a few different places, one of which is XL joinery. Most of the others seem to sell clothes joinery doors. Looking online, I’m a bit concerned as X5 joinery doesn’t have good reviews or customer care. One of the main moans I see are that they are supposed to be sealed on the day you receive them and before they are hung. Failure to do that and you can go and whistle for the guarantee. Other gripes are that the veneer lifts when you do seal them.

Has anyone heard of that?

I buy oak veneer doors from Howdens (only looked at first page so do not know if they have the style you want) and have been very happy with them (side note - use good qulity hinges as they are heavy).
https://www.howdens.com/joinery/doors?p=2&construction_material=Oak_Veneer

They have warnings 'not to use oil based sealant', appernatly because it can cause the veneer to lift. Cannot find this on website.
I have not had that issue (i use Osmo on them) - but of course that might just be me being luckly.

There was a discussion about this here:
