hi, whilst renovating I've found some areas of loose internal sand and cement render, the worst being above an internal door. I've removed the loose render back to brick, am i ok to use bonding plaster to patch them before the room is skimmed? at its thickest it would be about 25mm.
thanks

Yes perfect- I like to use a product called hardwall on bare brick. Bonding coat prob good too for lower suction surfaces. Both work.
