Have stripped my lounge to bare brick, new floor /joists fitted with soundproofing under them.
Next job is to try soundproof wall to my noisy neighbours house.
Have been looking at options and decided on rockwool rwa45 and either 1 or 2 layers of accoustic plasterboard.
For this i intend fitting a frame, wall is quite uneven.
Would 50mm u channel and c stud be adequate?
Or would i be better going for gypric system where the c studs are also fixed to the wall via brackets aswell?
