introduce Honeywell BDR91A Relay to Potterton EP2002 timer

Perhaps I am missing a vital piece of information here.

Boiler is a combi wired to a potterton timer that is to be replaced with a honeywell wireless programmer.
Not so much "missed a vital piece of information", but not read the OP's opening post carefully enough. The OP is installing a DT92E wireless thermostat, not a programmable one. Hence the need to retain the EP2002.

That is a bit silly. For a few pennies more the controls would have been far superior if prog stat was picked.
