Hello. I am hoping someone can advise me.
I am fitting a [Wickes] uPVC window into my garage wall. It is a single skin red brick wall and I have opened up the wall and fitted a lintel. All ok.

Question: Do I need to add a Damp Proof Course and, if so, where and how?

The DPC at the foot of the wall is in situ.

Note the garage is used traditionally; car, tools, workbench - it is not converted to an office or anything.
