Is EasyRidge (Dry Ridge Kit) Waterproof?

I installed mine today and I think the answer is no.

There's no channels. What's to stop water hitting the union part and splashing sideways a bit, in which case it will drip onto the mesh (which isn't waterproof at all) and then enter the secondary barrier, if there is one?

Edit - I'm not the first!

Dry ridge system membrane not waterproof. Surely rain can get in through the plastic spacers?

New to dry ridge system. Put the plastic bracket/spacer in between tiles, put the clips in. It’s quite a large gap between tiles. I thought surely heavy rain and wind could force water over the edge of the plastic bracket. I thought that’s fine, the “waterproof” membrane then takes it down over...

Installed properly it is watertight.
Dry ridge/hip has been installed in new builds for years and is BS162 approved.

Nobody can explain how though.

I had a reply back from the seller - "only the tiles are waterproof".

Frankly I'm expecting water ingression through the unions on the next downpour.
