Hi

I've got a 2 way switch controlling a bunch of spotlights. I was wondering if it was possible to remove one of the switches from a 2 way switch circuit.

By remove I mean remove one switch, and ALL associated wiring with that switch?

Can all the wiring just be pulled out for that one switch. Leaving the Spotlights all working off just one switch?

Thanks

It is possible to make one of the switches redundant.
But one of the switches is reliant on the other being connected, so it would depend which switch was being made redundant.
With regards to pulling cable it is possible, not a simple straight forward task, but again would depend on which switch has the second way.

Need to know what cables/wires you have at each switch.

May also be handy to know if you have access above (under floorboards, in a loft, etc).

Hi Guys

I would call out an electrician to do this, but wanted to make sure I did not call out an electrician, ask him to do this, and then have the electrician look at me as if I came from Mars!

I can't really answer what wires are there and I would have no idea even if i were to expose the wires.

It is a flat roof that the wires are be running through.

Thanks for the help and letting me know that it might be possible depending on the wiring/way wires are run.

Cheers
