I can only describe my accommodation as , 2 semi's split into 4 flats, I reside in a top one. The water pressure fluctuation between summer and winter and the adjoining neighbours really give pathetic water pressure. At some point a watering can would be a better shower, I'm serious. I have know got to don't care what's supposed to be proper. I have read loads on electric and pump showers and the like inc home jet washers one of which I own. My question is tricky so pm's might be order of the day. Is it physically possible to connect a pump to my cold mains and run it to my electric shower and, for it work ?

yes and no ? yes it can be plumbed in and no it won't work ?.If so why won't it work ?

Why not call a good plumber to diagnose the problem and suggest a solution?

Yes you would have to pay a little but at least it would give you a solution to the problem!

The problem needs no plumbing guru with sting on his mind. The problem is with the privatised water companies not making allowances for the increase of humans. A simple fact and the cause of why everything in this country is in decline. My simple question is simple and the answer received says it won't work. However, the reason/answer suggests that it does work and I'm going to try it whatever.

As prev stated. Jet washer works ok. Some electric showers can handle 10 bar. What can possibly go wrong ?

Whoops! How to win friends and influence people.....not!

The type of person you are berating in that comment are exactly (almost  ) the people you are asking for advice on here.

getting off the origins a bit, I think. Lets not kid ourselves about stinging .I worked in a garage with my mate who new a mate who was a plumber. Some of the things he brought in for 'revival' were incredible and I had to laugh, some of the burn tactics hilarious. Any certified tradesman has this in his armoury that's life here. Still I await the reason why won't it work

The guy who made the flats from houses could have used 1 stoptap from the old house to serve all flats and could be old lead main to the road, why dont you just screw your pressure washer to the wall and shower with that

Hats off to that man, genius. 'Describe' it is purpose built building. Still I await the answer. Why can't I pump water from the mains for a 10 bar lecky shower and it work ?

you can fit a direct pump up to 12 litres per min flow rate then you need a break tank set up. Salamander do a boost pump for 12lpm.

Big snoopy just gave you the answer. Maybe if he wrote it in broken English you might understand it.

What happens when you're enjoying your great new shower and one of your neighbours opens a tap or flushes the bog and instead of water coming out, air gets pulled in. Very neighbourly.
