Makes sense, wouldn't pump size make a diff, smaller that is
If you're going to put a pump to a leccy shower you'd better buy a load of spare PRVs, and good luck trying to heat all that water with a 10 kw leccy shower.

I am pleased to say I have received the info required. However, the facts still stand. I am not getting the quality or quantity of water I pay for. I am sure I can overcome my problem. I have just purchased a BL105w,I'm going to install it correctly. If my shower is interrupted by parasites or other jet and pump users or any reason, I shall buy a pump and with a few modifications end up with a shower that does what I need. I have an inventive and curious mind ,if I blow up a few things , so be it. Long live the dreambox . Thanks to everyone that contributed even. lol

Not sure what your quality issue is, but if you're on a water meter you pay for volume, not flow rate or pressure. If you're not om a meter you will pay for a guestimated average amount of water, based on your type of property.
There is, IIRC, no requirement for STWL to supply a minimum flow rate or pressure, but:
Severn Trent said:
We are required to report to the Director General those properties at risk of receiving less
than 10 metres head of pressure whilst receiving 9 litres flow per minute (enough water
to fill a 2 gallon container in 1 minute).
Pressure and flow rates in your home can be adversely affected by a number of factors:
• The height of the property above the water main and its height relative
to the reservoir.
• The condition and size of the customer’s service pipe.
• Whether the property shares a service pipe with other properties.
• Peak demand conditions.

If you think that your water pressure is too low, we will investigate the cause free of charge.
If the cause is our responsibility we will take appropriate action. If it is not, we will tell you
what you need to do. For further information please contact our Operational Customer
Contact Centre.

the idiots below us only go to the toilet and run water when we use anything in the bathroom,
Wear softer-soled shoes.
Are you sure it is not them going to their bathroom just before you go to yours?

Ok, thanks for the ST words. I have had plenty of dealings with them and the council. I also know how they operate. All I can tell you is they poker you out. The tests and reports are only in their favour. If you want an unbiased report it's going to cost and impossible to predict. A long time ago I moved into a place that had been empty a while. The overflow spout went into a cast iron enamelled bath , it had been dripping and left a streak that was green and taken the surface finish off. Many times in that property when running water you could smell and I knew what it was. ST said there's nothing wrong. I don't waste my time with them anymore and ofwat and the like, they are tools that act as a buffer in the imaginary system of democracy.

Too many barley pops?
We have people with similar attitudes to yourself in our tenants association; paranoid about all local and national governments and all utilities being against you, even their regulatory bodies, too.

You asked for help, didn't get the answers you wanted because you know best. Just fit it and forget it. We'll await the West Midlands water-borne epidemic with baited breath.

I'm done.

So we are all wrong ? as I said before, you have a Victorian attitude and the English disease, 'complacency' You can't blame all the freeloading foreigners for our troubles it's naive voting dummies that have made that problem. Why have you got to keep it going ?, the more you speak the more cred you lose. As I've said, you can put up with 2nd rate utilites ,I'm not. Ciao

Rage against the machine' what the hell are you on, mr must have the last word.I do resent being labelled a scrounger. You don't read and have a tunnel vision mind. For your information and again, as previously stated I have a lot of nice things and go to nice places ,but reliant on rubbish services .Would you like to see some pics that I took about a month ago. You think it's hot here.

Lol, I agree to all ,except your idea of what council housing is about. Your biggest problem is admitting to yourself when you are out of your depth .It also helps that when you enter a conversation etc what has been said earlier, You have clearly not read or understood anything I have written, yet you insist in jibbering along. I have also stated before that the info I required I GOT, Why do you do this ?

Ok if you insist. It appears that history is/wasn't your strong point or ,the concept of 'council housing' . All that follows is factual and anyone can verify, google it .When the idea of social housing surfaced 99.9% of uk was white. Hitler cost us the empire and 'the toublemaker' forced us out of the Indian sub-continent. After 250 years as rulers we took no notice of the natives family ways. 'Complacany', the english disease then struck when issuing passports [formation of east and west Pakistan] and finding 100's on one family .Subsequent years, forgeries and visitors that had no intention of return and the exiles caused by Idi Amin have resulted in a populus far greater than ever thought of . Figures released yesterday on BBC Midlands stated whilst enemployment has fallen nationwide for the 3rd successive month , in the west mids it rose .It came as no surprise that whites in Birmingham are the minority. Those who came her as illegals have had children which had children who had many children because they'd never had it so good .It comes to pass that bombings and crazy ideas and an infrastructure that is on the verge of collapse everybody will say anything other than face the facts. Many of these people really shouldn't be here and they been messing up this country for decades. The big laugh is I'm paying for it and waiting in line paying for them. So you
now know why council housing is being taken by scroungers

Didn't anyone teach you about paragraphs and punctuation.

If you are going to try and lecture me at least have the decency to make the lecture understandable.

A spell check wouldn't hurt either ;).
