Is it safe to run washing machine hoses behind cooker?

Hello :)

I'm rearranging the kitchen. I'd like to swap the washing machine & cooker positions, but this will mean running 2.5 metre hoses from the washer to the plumbing. They'd have to pass behind my freestanding electric cooker.

Is this a really bad idea?

Thanks!

A couple of things.
1) The cooker could well dissipate heat from the vents at the back and case could get warm, whilst in operation. This could melt the hose.

2) If the hose happened to spring a leak, this could then come in contact with the cookers electricity, this is potentially dangers and could knacker the appliance.
I would consider moving the water supply pipe closer to the location.
