Greetings,

I've got some wire wool which I'm planning on using to deter a mouse, is it safe to put near pipes coming to/from my boiler? It says keep away from sources of ignition on the wool and although not strictly a source of ignition, surely if it gets hot enough it could catch fire?

na a blowlamp yes or electricity works well

not hot pipes

the amount of the stuff thats been left under floors etc over the years

half the country would have gone up

I'm intrigued. Are mice scared of wire wool?

If they are, then I think that my tabby-cat has just lost his job.

Ive recently installed mice around the flow and return, to deter wire wool.
