Is it worth getting a pump replaced in Hotpoint Dishwasher

Hi, I am pretty sure the pump has gone in my Hotpoint DWF61, as it's not emptying at the end of the programme, the water smells, and when the programme starts, or when I cancel the programme, I can't hear the pump trying to work. It's not the impeller, as I have checked that several times, and it will move round, and is not blocked.

So, now the question, is it worth trying to get it fixed, or just replace the dishwasher? The machine is 9 years old, and has been suffering from the 1 minute problem (where it sits at 1 minute remaining for ages, but still sounds like it's doing something), and sometimes doesn't clean properly, but it still feels like it would be a waste to get rid of it just because the pump (presumably) needs replacing?

Any ideas what a pump would cost (including someone to fit it), or the likelihood that it might not need a replacement pump, and that a good engineer might manage to fix it?

check the waste pipe the end thats goes to to the sink.

I checked the waste pipe at the sink end - there was some muck in the pipe, which I cleaned out, but it didn't seem to make any difference. And I still can't hear the pump trying to empty the water - especially if I do the test of cancelling the programme.
