Is it worth getting Pruning saw for Stihl multi tool?

I have a cheaper alternative and it's handy though mine is heavy - holding it above your head is very tiring.

One thing though, I would advise checking if the trees you have are actually in reach. We moved from a townhouse to the country with a large garden and the scale of trees is always catching me out. A "little branch" can turn out to be 2" thick, and 12' up. They quickly get beyond the reach of non-specialist tools in my garden :)

Yes it will be worth it. But if your on a budget, check tube diameter and drive shaft type you may well find an alternative that will fit. Wont be to the same quality as Stihl, but you may to have the work to justify the outlay.
E-Bay might be worth a look .............

Edit:Just had a look on E-Bay and found this click
You will need a drive tube and bar chain, but reasonable

Is that an engine for the pole saw?

Have you noticed how the orient even copies Stihl colours?
It's a gearbox that you mount the chain bar on to.....at that price it's longevity will be measured in minutes
John :)

Yes a gearbox for the pole saw, not recommending to get it, just letting you see what's out there.
That gearbox might cut more than you think ........
Its very hard to know the quality of those items, price doesn't always mean reliability.
