IS Lintels

Hi All

I am about to fit lintels in my extension. My question is the lintels have serrated side and a plain side. Which side to outside. Input will be grately appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

From what you are describing, i assume you are talking about Catnic or steel lintels ?

The serated edge goes inside so the slope on the top of the lintel slopes to the outside cavity.

P.S Dont forgrt DPM before you comence with the outer skin. Oh and weep holes.

IS = IG mes think, just same types as Ctnic

Sorry forgot to mention steel lentil IS and catic lentils are identical only difference is price. Thanks for putting my mind at rest. I can now get on with my work knowing what to do. Regards.
