Counter-terrorism police say vulnerable and elderly victims were called at home by a person claiming to be a police officer.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering by police investigating an alleged scam by extremists travelling to Syria.

Police said the fraud targeted "unsuspecting vulnerable and elderly victims" who were called at home by a person claiming to be a police officer.

The police should be ashamed of themselves, these men (perpetrators) are so obviously the victims in all this.

It's all very well that ISIS sub-humans are prolific in the Middle East, but completely unacceptable that they are here in our midst.

Once they are found (as they have been here) they should immediately be kicked out and sent back to their spiritual home. Instead, they will be given private rooms in our four-star prisons for a few months, where they can conveniently convert other feeble-minded inmates to the Religion of Peace.

You forgot what happens when they come out though,,,, A life on taxpayer funded benefits. They won't even be followed or put under surveillance by the authorities, just in case they claim "Racism" ;) ;)

This is outrageous. By targeting the vulnerable and elderly with scams, the ROP are taking 'work' away from hard working Irish travellers.
