Hello

I've got one of these radiators below (Milano Elizabeth) and I've looked into converting it to dual fuel so I can put it on in the summer without turning on the CH. Best Heating (where the rad is from) do an 800w heating element (£80) but it means I have to turn it on an off at the switched fuse spur. If I want a thermostat control it's another £120. £200 feels a bit steep (plus another £50 for the cable cover!) and I was wondering if all heating elements are interchangeable. For example I could get a smart one for £100 like this: Terma MOA Blue Smart 800W element

I've marked where the element goes in. I guess I need to find out if that entry point is the same as the valve connection. Does anyone have any experience of doing this or advice on whether it's possible? Thanks

Is it to warm towels in summer?
I didn't think you could with that style radiator

That's great. Funnily enough I bought an element today to see if it screwed in and it seemed to - not fitted it yet but you've given me confidence that I don't have to shell out the big bucks. Thank you!
