Hello,
Buy cheap buy twice.
Well… this was kind of cheap and the fact that the screw has literally snapped is such a **** take.
Instead of replacing the whole unit, can anyone recommend a way of ‘glueing’ or somehow fixing it back in? (Aside from welding) I tried gorilla glue which says it works on metal but to no avail.
Thanks!

Try drilling the broken stub out with a stud extractor. Cant glue or weld that back on Im afraid.

The only adhesive that could work is a two part epoxy such as Araldite, but you’d need to get both bits perfectly clean and stood still for 24 hrs.
The tap top may come off if you unscrew the H embellisher to reveal a screw beneath.

Thanks all.

I’ve drilled out the broken stub of screw left in and somehow managed to screw the remaining bit back in … results are that one lever is shorter and missing the chrome sleeve bit 100% functional! It’s ok for a short term fix!!
