Is there a reset button on this old immersion heater? Where?!

My old (but little used) immersion heater has suddenly stopped working.
Obviously I want to try resetting it, but I can't find the usual pinhole reset.

Satchwell Controller.

Does this controller actually have a reset button?!
Where precisely is it?

I highly doubt on that old thing there’d be a thermal cut out as they were introduced around 2004. You may even need a new element anyway.

Doesnt have one , new element and thermostat time, most elements come with a thermostat, but not all so look before you buy, that is as long as it is getting power when switched on, which I assume you have checked

If the immersion is on top of the cylinder then this is what you need:

Also check the wiring is in good condition, if not replace that also:

(this is only 1 metre long)
