is this forum getting slower?

recently when clicking submit to post something, it takes an age for the confirmation page to load. Anyone else been having probs?

ive noticed if i edit a post, it takes a lto longer to submit than when making a new post

Perhaps the posts are being sent direct to the censor before they appear on the forum.

dont think its that, since all submitted posts, new or edits, would go thru the censor. its only taking a wile to submit on edits

For as long as I can remember edits have taken substantially longer to go through than new posts.
