Is this glue suitable for glueing T&Gs when floating bam

what's a floating bam? 
oops ! think my title was too long - it was suppoised to read bamboo . . . as far as I can see this glue looks fine for the job, but it seems cheap compared to other brands, and I have to say I don't understand the difference between PVA v's PVAC etc . .
I guess I want the BEST glue for the job!
