NHBC stance is that eaves boards are good practice but not mandated by NHBC . . . .
They may cover cost of repairing the damged felt but minimum claim value is £813 on our policy. Aparantly our policy says tiles and rafters does not refer to roof coverings as later policies do. Will see what the letter says.
From his reaction an NHBC warranty is not worth much!
