fellas,
need to install a dimmer in a 16mm backbox (wont fit)...would normally replace with a 25mm, but without going into it, this option is not possible..

Will this item give me more space to fit the dimmer into? if not, can somebody post a link to the item i am looking for, cheers all....

hi go to your local wholesaler and ask for a plastic 1g box extender.

It's made for a specific range of dimmers, but it might work with others.

If the Lutron one doesn't fit you can get spacers from caravan shops (normally for use on hardboard walls).

I have only ever seen them in white.

The one at screwfix is designed for the lutron dimmers, and has tabs in the way.

MK do simple white ones, but not the link you gave.
