I have a ISAR HE35 3 years old, when the function of the boiler switches from HW to CH the diverter valve creates a hooting sound, like an owl (just once) when the actuator activates. has anyone had this problem if so did the problem lay with the valve or actuator. is replacement strightforward after the boiler is drained. any constructive advise would be welcome.

Unlikely to be the diverter, but anything is possible with this piece of junk.
Your best option is to get a fixed price repair with minimum full year warrantee, and then a full breakdown cover; you will need it.
