isolator switch in loft?

Good evening all.

I wish to install a timer-fan in my upstairs loo that comes on with the light. It would be one of the inline type that resides in the loft. I was thinking of positioning the 3-pole isolator switch in the loft as well; Would this contravene any regs and/or be considered bad practice, or does it need to be accessible without going up there?

I don't see a problem with that. If you needed to work on the fan you'd have to go in the loft anyway.
