Isolator valves used on CH pipes

Hello I'm hoping someone can tell me if these valves are OK on CH (vented) system? I've noticed the radiators downstream of them do not work unless pump is on full so I'm wondering if they are are for high pressure. Can't find them on the market now, could be up to 40 years old I think.
Thanks for any help.

They are not full flow valves . The bore will be reduced and also probably restricted with rusty deposits.
