If I go to www.yahoo.com, then down the left I get UK weather information.
I presume my ISP reports my location (country-wise)?
How can I fool it into thinking I live in the States?

-- I want to see US prices on a website.

Thanks

why not go direct to the U.S website?

this site has Prices in USD

it has nothing to do with where i am in the wold, i guess you must have gone to the wrong site, dont forget most (not all) American sites are .com

You can't do that. A lot of sites do a reverse lookup and suss where you're from. Try it with www.yahoo.com
I have found the answer though;
www.strongproxy.com

On my websites I have a Statcounter tracker and I've noticed that AOL customers (even UK based ones) always seem to have an US ISP ;)
