I'm scratching my head. If Gay sex in a public toilet can't win, then what can?
 
So without all the Virtual singnaling judges. If the vote had just been from the public, then Israel would have come 2nd.

That's not bad for one of the best songs.

And Switzerland would not have won.

I see the Irish are making fools of themselves again.

The most vociferous country in Europe with it's anti Israel stance, to the point Israel withdrew diplomatic relations leaving Ireland standing with Iraq, Somalia, North Korea et al as one of the few countries not to have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Called on the International court of Justice to expand the official definition of Genocide to incorporate any action by Israel in Gaza. (failed)

Led the call for Israel to be banned from the Eurovision Song Contest. (failed)

So now that the majority of National Broadcasters have rightly voted to allow Israel to compete in Eurovision, Ireland (followed by a few other eejits) are going to boycott it. Good.

Here's an interesting take on the reasons for Irelands anti Israel stance, linking it's relationship with Britain and it's devotion to the PLO.

All the Northern Irish who say they support Palestine are communists who are all on the dole and live on handouts from the British government. The Irish Reps are not much different. As you say Filly, making fools of themselves

No. they are only a pop group after all and not complicit in their home country's murderous regime. I see the emboldened settlers are up to their old tricks, with even more violence and venom.
