It's beginning to look a lot like......not the Brexit you hoped for....

Ban Viessmann boiler import's sighting the fact that the founder of the company may ?? or could have ;) or might have had some thing to do with
designing ? installing ? the crematorims in Germany ? & Poland between 1938 & 1944 ???;) (possibly ? allegedly?? may be ??)
It looks like **** end is up to his no-good mischief again:
J.A. Topf and Sons ... was an engineering company, founded in 1878 in Erfurt, Germany by Johannes Andreas Topf (1816-1891). It made heating systems ... and crematoria. ...
It is now infamous as the largest of 12 companies that designed and built crematoria ovens for concentration camps and extermination camps during the Holocaust, planned and carried out by the Nazi regime from 1935 to 1945.

I think I will send a copy of **** end's comments to Viessmann to see what they think of his mischief.

Brexit will be fine. When other countries see that it is a success , they will want out of the EU as well ;)

I think if there is anything at all, it will be a watered-down sop - "We delivered Brexit!". I doubt hard Brexit will happen.

There might also be a change of government before March '19. Which might derail any Brexit at all.

That's a cheery thought, but with the idiot Davies (mis)managing the process, and the RWR newspapers pumping out propaganda, the country looks like being railroaded over a cliff. There is no sign that a beneficial deal is on the cards, unless you believe the "cake and eat it" fantasies.

Did you see
"Almost two-thirds of the British public think that the UK Government’s negotiating position on Brexit is unclear (64%), with almost a third (32%) describing the Government position as ‘very unclear’.

"This lack of clarity affects perceptions of how well the Government in handling the negotiations. Just 4% think the Government is handling them ‘very well’, compared to one quarter (26%) who think they are handling them ‘very poorly’. Even among Leave voters, over half (54%) think the Government is handling the negotiations very or fairly poorly."

What is going to defeat the anti-EU nutters?

Has Theresa withdrawn her "no deal" slogan?

Whose idea was it to send the Article 50 letter when the government had no idea what they wanted, and, after 17 months of squabbling, still can't agree?

It looks like I was right and the government are incapable of strategic planning:
It is very, very simple! Not the solution, but the variety of solutions, depending on the possible scenarios.
E.g a free trade deal - not much work needed depending on the terms of the deal.
No deal - detailed plans on how the border will be operated.
Then various plans for all the possible scenarios in between.

Then these plans are presented to EU negotiating team for discussion.
It is not rocket science to plan for various scenarios. Industry, commerce, finance have been doing it since time immemorial.

Are you suggesting that this government is incapable of strategic planning?

There can be no final decisions on the future of the Irish border until the UK and the EU have reached a trade agreement, Liam Fox has said.

He has two options:

A hard border between NI and the republic,
or
A hard border between the whole Island of Ireland and GB.

He doesn't want either.

Has he suggested an alternative?

He knows we can't get full access to the Single Market, and open borders, because our government has ruled out conforming to the Four Freedoms. The EU has told the UK that dozens of times. Our government is pretending they don't believe it.

It wouldnt be a negotiation if the full details were published in the media, so a poll would always indicate 'unclear'.

Corbyns stance on EU......unclear!

Strategic planning isnt a final answer either
Obviously!
It provides a range of different answers, depending on the outcome.
Strategic planning is the solution!

The details of the various answers to the various scenarios do not need to be published. But they obviously do not exist because they clearly have not been presented to the EU negotiators or the Irish government.
