It's beginning to look a lot like......not the Brexit you hoped for....

where's roger's apology for faking a quote?

Not "would" but "No-one can foresee the long-term results. As a historian, I fear Brexit could..."

full text of the answer to the question "What would a resignation mean for the British?"

"The Brexit campaign has one very clear message. "Let's walk out. Nothing will be different, everything will stay the same as always." Well, that's not true. Not just economically, but especially for their whole political position in the world, it would be a backward step for Great Britain. Why is it so dangerous? Because no-one can predict the long-term consequences. As a historian, I fear that Brexit could be the start of the destruction not only of the EU, but of the whole political civilisation of the West"

(my translation)

my wording edited for elegance

Tusk concerned not with the fate of the UK, but of his beloved EU.
Nothing can be allowed to stand in the way of his ilk's ambitions.....

How foolish you are. You ignore the concern he expresses for the UK and its future.

But do you think that the EU President should put the interests of the 27 members of the EU secondary to the interests of a country that will not be a member? Whose interests do you suppose Buffoon Boris puts first? (Buffoon Boris, obv.)

We had our chance.

When Trump says the UK can have a trade treaty, whose interests do you think come first?

How foolish you are. Tusk cares not about the interests of the 27, only the interests of the EU.

concern for the UK Hmmmm

More likely he should be concerned about one of the biggest import markets in Europe for European made cars ;)

The biggest import market in Europe for heating equipment/boilers etc etc

He & the EU should be concerned about the rise of the far right in Germany & Eastern Europe

Nationalists in Spain , Belgium & other areas in the EU seeking independence

Merkel getting voted out

etc etc

That must be why he is demanding the UK pays 80 billion just to leave the club.
Concern?
His only concern is losing easy money from a cash cow.

rota of false claims?

Poor old JohnD has got his rota of pictures he loves to post with monotonous regularity.:)

80 billion......such figures have certainly been bandied around by the Germans, they are trying to avoid having to cough up for the shortfall.

it's often said that notch is an RWR who hates foreigners and wears lumberjack underwear. These claims are often bandied around.

Roger, judy and notch admit that no such demand has been made, they just do it because they like posting lies.
