I'll be 65, so will be picking up my pension at the end of the month. TBH I didn't plan to get to this age and it's a bit strange. I'm still fit and healthy except for my feet, teeth,prostrate and back. Love doing DIY, repairing things and a bit of gardening. Like to help a few old folk in the area so will be recovering a 2 x 8m lean-to for them in the new year and laying a lawn in the spring.
Love getting on here and putting in my 2 penny's worth.

There's many a person out there, probably not even half your age, that are fu*ked with alcholol, fags, drugs, etc. Good health is the key to it all,, and good health to you. :wink:

Anyway you might be 65 but how old do you feel? normally its a lot younger.

Lie prostrate , that`ll ease your back and take the weight off your feet - can`t advise about your teeth as I only have 11 of my own :shock: All the best for tomorrow, and many more :wink:

Flipping heck, apart from age 63 and good teeth that looks like my CV.
Just finished ripping out and renewing my next door neighbour's 84 year old aunts kitchen and renewing it. As well as sorting out heating system ( new coffin F&S tank in attic, rusty old metal one still up there, hatch too small) plus other odds and ends.
Been using catheters for two weeks now, till surgeon decides why I'm not emptying bladder sufficiently. Is it plumbing - prostate- or electrical - nerves - trapped in old slipped disc problem. Had an MRI scan Friday to to confirm or discount electrics. I'll see surgeon again on 16th to decide whether to operate on back or re bore uthera through proststate.

As with you wreckd, Im as fit as a lop. Been retired 2 years now, but have circle of people to whom I'm the man to turn to for most things. This growing old is very iritating. I just keep quoting one of Winston Churchill's self motivational sayings to myself "I must KBO"- keep b-----ing on.

Oh by the way have a good one and many more
