Jacuzzi Bath

Hi,

I have just bought one of these:

I am taking out an electric shower which has a 30amp fuse and 8mm cable fitted. I am presuming the bath (recieve on Monday 5th) will require alot less than 30amp, can i reduce the fuse to whatever it states in the manual, and still use the 8mm cable?

Any help appreciated.

Yes you can use the existing cable if it will fit in the terminals. The cable will be either 6 or 10mm² not 8.

The bath instructions will probably ask for RCD protected supply. If your shower circuit is, OK, but if not, you need an RCD spur. All domestic spa baths I've seen run on <13A supply.

If this is the case, it may be as well to replace the main shower fuse or breaker with 16A.
