does anyone know if you can replace the metric tyre size 390mm with 15 inch diameter

no you cant. only the TD 390 tyres will fit the 390 rims. dunlop sp sports were original equipment. i believe Colway now make remoulds, if price is an issue. or get a set of 15 inch rims from ebay or the like.

I've seen them fitted but i really think its a dangerous idea, the cheapest and safest option is to find some later rims which return to imperial sizes, BMW rims fit i beleave to?
