We moved in some seventeen years ago, and kept the previous occupants' wall lights over our bed. The lights must be quite old, our sellers being original buyers in 1971.

Recently both lights' pull switches have jammed. Aware of the possible age of the units, should I even think of having them repaired, diy or not, or would it be better to replace with up to date items?

What is a tradesman in S.W. Hants likely to charge for either option?

Your thoughts, please.
