Hi guys. Okay, so ive had the jcb 20v combi drill (with 2 batterys) brilliant drill, never let me down really, getting old but still works.

Anyway, im about to start fairly large renovation and ive seen the jcb impact driver, 18v

My question as im sure youve guessed by now. Can i buy the BODY ONLY version of the impact driver (36 quid, bargin) and use one of my current batterys? Or does it need to be the "E-Tech"

Il link a photo of the battery i have now, as well as a screenshot of the product im looking to buy.

Thanks in advance

That a good idear. I might try that at b&q. I just wonder if theyve security fixings on the batteries to stop a scally nicking a battery from the shop model.
